Is it sad that I'm so excited about Excel 2007?
I brought a bit of work home with me (yes, I intend to bill the time), because it was easy to do, and wouldn't take me too long, but would take me much longer at work. Anyway, I use an older version of Office at work, and I was itching to play with the new Office at home (purchased for $30 through a work purchase plan!), so I thought this was a good opportunity, since I use a lot of different features with this particular task.
What can I say? I love it. Everything is at my fingertips, everything is pretty much exactly where I expect it to be. Pivot tables, filters, formulas, formatting, everything is right there! I wish I could get the office to upgrade to 2007, but unfortunately, we run a lot of actuarial software that isn't compatible with Office 2007 just yet. So, I must wait.
*sigh*...an MS product that makes me happy! What's the world coming to?
