Yesterday I posted about the fact that I was going to have to stop waiting for the school secretary stuff and get a permanent position in an office again. Well, at about 5:30 last night, I got a call from one of my employment agencies with a temp position that will carry me for about a month. The pay is not huge, but it's almost $3/hr better than the last temp position I worked last week, which was only for 3 days. And the location isn't perfect, but it's right off the 407, which is how Johnathan has been getting to work, so he can just pop off the highway, and back on. I'm waiting on an email from the agency with all the details, like directions and attire.
So, it's a bit of relief. I will have temp work for a month. It's not a lot of cash, but I'll be able to contribute to the mortgage again, which will make things easier. And in the meantime, I can start looking for something I think I would enjoy doing, instead of rushing to find any permanent job.
