return and restoration
Well, I have returned from my family trip and what's more I've nearly returned to a healthy status. While I was on vacation I seemed to have picked up a number of viruses and it seemed the R&R wasn't enough to bring me back to full strength and neither was the week following, however, with a good 10 hours sleep last night I finally seem to be getting back to a much healthier state of being ^^
Speaking of vacation, it went rather well, the only major problem was that I got sick... sickest I've been in a long time and ended up being bedridden for 2 days and I'm still not 100% from it all, but I'm getting better ^^. I also managed to procure a number of pictures while i was on the trip and I've got them all saved to my laptop along with a video but those will be talked about at another time methinks. All in all, In spite of being sick, I had a very good time.
So, after the vacation, I came home and this leads us to my first week of school. It didn't go so well for a number of reasons, mostly relating to my illness. 1) I was really tired throughout the week and it caused me to miss a few classes. 2) Still being sick I had trouble concentrating in said classes and 3) I had a small emergency with my doggie shadow this week. This problem was that on tuesday morning she broke out into a nosebleed and so I took her to the vet and found it could be a symptom of toumers developing in her nasal cavaties. This brings to mind how mortal my pet is and seeing as how she's been with us for a decade the thought of her passing makes me rather sad... quite sad actually, but we'll see how this develops.
Anywho, as I said before I left a few weeks ago I'd be posting the list of Pros from the year 2008, so without furteher adieu, off the top of my head all the noteworthy things i did in 08:
-Met Minnigan ^^ met him, fell in love, mated and then met him IRL.... today's been a rather good year in that regard =)
-I made a museaum exhibit for the Brantford museaum
-I made one of the opening speeches for said exhibit and afterwards the mayor of Brantford shook my hand... shway
-Finally finished my 2nd part of Runa's Story and it was some pretty decent work
-Guarded a Japanese celebraty at Anime North this year ^^ also got some nice pics taken in my Matrix coat
-Made some of my first excursions in a fursuit this year ^^ oh what fun was had getting to dress up like that =3 Thanks Stitch ^^
-Bought a PS3... it's pretty cool
-Got a few A's in my classes pretty recently ^^ I'm quite happy for that since I've never really been an A student
-Got to use "Don't Taze Me Bro" in a class presentation
-Started to make better aquaintence with some of the furs in London ^^
-Got really really drunk a few times... I'm pretty sure I don't have to go into detail about that since you guys were there for it =P
-made an FA page and posted some stuff to it.
that's all I can really think of off the top of my head and now it's onto...
-Videogames! Time to figure out what titles I can slip under my belt for this year ^^
-Mass effect, Bioshock, Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations, Perfect Dark Zero, Devil May Cry 4, Portal, Appolo Justice: Ace Atturney, Dead Space, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles. There was also the time when I came by at the end of decenber and beat Megaman 2, 7, 8, 9, and X... man I love Megaman...
And that's all I can think of right now. I hope everyone had a warm and happy holiday, I hope you're all in good health and I should be well enough to see you all again come monday. ^^
