Well, more than halfway to my weekend, as Thursday is that last day I have to work this week. I just started Ziggy on a Panacur Powerpak, though, so I still have to go out to the barn every day, but at least I don't have to DO anything. The period is dying on my laptop, which totally sucks. :( Rode today, despite the awful heat and humidity. Ziggy did pretty well, although he was tripping in the stupid holes again. I'm going to call the vet this week and see if I can get an Adequan script for him. It's soooo much cheaper if I just order it from Heartland than if I buy it from him. (Like, HALF the price!) Haven't played EQII at all this week. Will probably go to my mom's tomorrow and play with Jeff for a bit. Yllarrah is almost a Paladin, completed the quest, just need to reach level 20. Haven't played Lethara in a while, so she's still stuck at level 14. :D Need to get back to her eventually. Mark got me the Kean CD I wanted at Best Buy today... He was all mad, though, 'cause they didn't have his Bob Mould CD. :/ Apparently they didn't even have a slot for him at all. Weird.
Not much else going on... Jennifer's memorial service was yesterday, but I missed it because I volunteered (like a complete moron) to drop off a semen shipment for Martha at the FexEx place and got stuck there for like 45 minutes. Then I had to go home and shower and change (I smelled like the barn) and by the time I was ready it was pretty much over. :/ So, that pretty much sucked, but I don't know if I would have handled it well, anyway. Martha said it was really weird. Blah... had a really good cry about it on Friday, which helped.
Have a horse show next Wednesday with Miss Ariesa... hoping it goes better than the last one. I'm trailering with Cindy this time, so that should be better anyway. We're trying to keep Valora and Ariesa separated from one another to avoid herd boundness issues. :p Here's hoping it helps.
Going to go to bed now so that I can get up at a normal time and go ride before the real heat of the day hits. I also volunteered to help Martha breed a mare tomorrow. :P (Hey, I don't mind doing that so much, as long as I don't have to feed!) Then will prolly go to mom's. Hope things cool off this weekend like they're supposed to. I'm sick of riding in this crappy weather!
Here's an interesting little thingie I snatched from
nightwind2 the Wit
(60% dark, 30% spontaneous, 38% vulgar)
your humor style:
CLEAN | COMPLEX | DARK
You like things edgy, subtle, and smart. I guess that means you're probably an intellectual, but don't take that to mean you're pretentious. You realize 'dumb' can be witty--after all isn't that the Simpsons' philosophy?--but rudeness for its own sake, 'gross-out' humor and most other things found in a fraternity leave you totally flat.
I guess you just have a more cerebral approach than most. You have the perfect mindset for a joke writer or staff writer. Your sense of humor takes the most effort to appreciate, but it's also the best, in my opinion.
PEOPLE LIKE YOU: Jon Stewart - Woody Allen - Ricky Gervais
