Warnings: Random craziness, flirting with cliche pick-up lines, groping, the sudden appearance of someone who's gone missing and one who's been long since dead. Mention of incest.
Dream Effect: Open admiration (for Elizabeth), confusion and fear (for Alice's well-being), embarrassment and attraction (to Tamaki), surprise and affection (for Sanzo), ( Read more... )

Ah, Miss Alice... you wouldn't happen to know how to filter dreams, would you? [And there is nervous laughter, because no one should have to view his dreams. Ever.]

(ooc: In general: I started with the characters whose relationships with Hakkai were the least awkward, and ended with the most awkward. Specifically: Alice comes after Elizabeth Bennet because of the circumstance of Hakkai's first meeting with Alice. The gift he gave Alice at Christmas was inappropriate, and Hakkai is ashamed of it. He also feels that being sexually attracted to anyone is shameful. He's not attracted to Alice that way, but he does feel that way about Elizabeth. So his warped sense of morality is trying to tell him that he should as ashamed about being attracted to Elizabeth as he is about giving Alice fuzzy, bunny-themed lingerie.

Also, Hakkai sees the first three people in the dream, (Elizabeth, Alice, and Tamaki) as being very pure. He doesn't feel too bad about being attracted to Elizabeth, because she's a mature woman and can handle herself. Alice, of course, is completely off-limits because of her age. Hakkai is the more conflicted about Tamaki, because he's just so innocent and clueless. Touching him with intentions that were anything other than platonic would be like rape... or something.)

Oh, I see. I thought that since you could filter the posts, well...

If you can't filter dreams, then that's awfully inconvenient, isn't it?

You... could ask Mr. Ta-.... um... you could ask someone with more knowledge?

Most of the people I know haven't been here very long. Although, Sanzo has been here longer than I have. Perhaps I could...

Then again, asking him right now might not be a good idea.

[Well she's not thrilled she fell off a cliff. But it's not like he wanted her to... she hoped.]

I don't think it is.

[No, he didn't want her to at all. It scared him.]

Ah... why would you say that?

Dreams... dreams are so nice because we don't control them. You can't. You can pick your food, clothes, who you talk to. And... dreams are always unexpected adventures.

I think... my own dreams are more like unexpected horrors. Ha ha ha ha.

But, it is true that there are some things that you can only see in dreams.

Do... you not want to dream?

That's a difficult question to answer, isn't it?

I suppose... it would depend on what I'm dreaming about.
