High School Confidential blew my mind! I felt honoured to be part of such an important event and to share the stage with such talented people. I embodied my seventeen-year old self and performed a teen angst poetry set as someone actually performing in a talent show. To get into character, I focused my energies on Kimothy and acted as if the poetry that I was reading was written for him. The funny thing was that people actually did think that the poems were written for Kimothy. I spent the time before the performance making myself all anxious so that I could seem as if I was actually on stage at my high school reading my crush poetry. It went over so well and I'm really happy with it!
