Anyone else ever call a hiatus pretty much as soon as the problem gets solved, because that totally just happened to me. >_< I apologize for any angst I may have caused, and will attempt to be less of a dumbass in the future. I'm posting now before I forget, but I have class soon, I'll tag back later!))I've been ( Read more... )

Some forget their time here, but some remember it. It's more like a dream if you remember it, though.

It varies from person to person? That makes sense. If I dream, I'll remember it when I wake up. It might be fuzzy, but fuzzy is enough.

It seems to. I've always dreamed it, but I never really was able to use what I knew from here. It's like it was just out of reach.

That's helpful, I think. I'm understanding this place better now, at least.

Would you give in so easily to despair, Herr Captain?

No. If I can't do it this way, I'll find another way. That much I know.

As you should, herr Steve. One must never give up, after all. I expect a soldier of your repute to know that there is no task that is truly impossible.

I don't expect words of encouragement from someone like you. But I'll do what I must.

I know what you're talking about.

But I don't have an answer to your questions, not really. Some people seem to leave the City and come back with their memories intact, but others... don't.

There's got to be some...method to this, or at least I think so, Miss Asano. I wouldn't-I want to think that not wanting to forget is enough. I've only been here a short while, and there's already so much I didn't know before, that shouldn't be forgotten. People and places and events, all of them.

I know wanting it and making it happen are two different things, so I'll work on the latter and hope for the former.

I've been wondering - if there are any kind of patterns. Patterns would be a good start.

No, wanting something does not equal accomplishing it - far from it. But it's hard putting worth into something when you're not even sure what that something is, or how exaclty you can reach it.

Always good to start with patterns, or similarities, just to think about what's connected and what isn't.

I don't know how I can make myself remember when I leave, but anything is worth trying. I'd rather try and fail than sit here twiddling my thumbs about it.

...but there's a eavesdropping red-head kind of freaking out because she's way back-timed, even from Cap's perspective and she has NO IDEA what he's talking about...yet.

You pop in and you pop out. That's the established facts. The rest is speculated bullshit.

I appreciate your honesty, at least.
