Updates:
The Beelzebub-possessed toilet that wouldn't ever flush properly and leaked horrilby has FINALLY been replaced by our landlord. The new toilet appears to be made for industrial use, and thank-jeebus it's not one of those cruddy ones that's built to conserve water and therefore doesn't flush properly. However, it's a bit disconcerting that my feet don't touch the floor. The advent of a new bathroom appliance in our household caused me to into a "happy tech dance" fit for two days; the rest of the house started to question my sanity.
Both the truck and the Saturn now have air-cond again thanks to family friend who did the work at a price we could afford. It wasn't Bill this time, although Bill has been invaluable in keeping H & I's cars on the road for the past year. Thanks, Bill!
The wedding date continues to approach and what seems like an ever-increasing rate of speed. We have suits and dresses, engagement photos, and invitations mostly under control so far. H and I could use suggestions on the types of beer, wine, and champagne that will be served at the reception. The list is at present, as follows:
&- Beer -&
Newcastle
Rolling Rock
???
&- Wine -&
Zinfandel (Red or Rose, not White)
Cabernet Sauvignon
Reisling
???
&- Champagne -&
???
Ideas welcome...
