"Alright Let's Do This!"
Okay! My family just had our first Dugan Family War Meeting. We discussed the situation our family is in, and how to get ourselves out of our hole.
Naturally, one thing that came up is the desperate need for money. Dad only has enough money for either the house payment or the power bill, but not both. He has to pay the power bill for obvious reasons, which means the house payment will have to wait. Unfortunately we're already 2 months behind on that so we will be facing foreclosure.
We discussed several ways to save and earn money. One way is to cut unnecessary services, like the TV Cable and DVR, and shutting off the AC( the later of which we are doing on Monday). Obviously we can't just cut out all Cable services or we'd have no Phone and no internet. Another way is to sell stuff we never use, like the books we don't look at.
Also, we need better jobs. The men are to hunt for jobs, while I find a better one. Therefore, my goal for this week is to apply at three different jobs and talk to my boss about raising my hours. Another goal is to start doing Yoga every morning, to increase my energy. Yes, yoga makes me energetic. My third goal, which will take a month, is to get serious on getting my license.
So yeah. Hopefully this works. Anyway, gotta go now. We're heading out to Mom's on a cheer-up-Mom campaign. Later all.
