(no subject)

Strange things are happening in my apartment.

Yesterday I was feeling really depressed, so I laid down on my sofa to sleep it off. As I was drifting somewhere between consciousness and sleep, I experienced what felt like someone soothingly rubbing my back, something that a loved one would do. It was actually really comforting, even after realizing I was alone in my apartment. Even though I was fairly sure that it was something I actually really did physically feel, I was still critical about it since I was in the pre-sleep state.

Anyway, I was telling Holly (my roommate) about it today, and as soon as I started to say that I felt something touching my back, she started freaking out. Apparently, when she was washing her face and getting ready to leave yesterday, she was feeling upset and could have sworn that she felt something touching her back, as if to comfort her. She hadn't mentioned it to me because she thought that maybe it was all in her head.
So. Weird.
And to top it off, before we shared our stories this afternoon, a wineglass that had been sitting on the TV fell over and shattered this morning when we were in the other room. It was sitting directly on the tv, so nothing could have shifted it at all, and it had been there for over a day without any previous problems. The subject of the broken wineglass is actually what prompted me to bring up my experience to Holly.

Ok, so enough about ghosts.
1. I put in my deposit for France today...which I guess means it's really happening. Crazy.
2. Stephen Toutt is coming to Gainesville today and I'm super excited.
3. I decided that putting kalua in my coffee for the week in the northeast is a really, really good idea.
4. I decided that I'm not really interested in Tyler anymore; I still think he's super attractive, but realistically, we wouldn't be very compatible to date. I don't think he's interested anymore, anyway.
5. It could be May or Thanksgiving before the next time I'm back in Boca.. I don't mind it, but there are a couple of people I would like to see and stores I'd like to visit.
