So, we haven't had any prowler problems for over a month and a half now. Yeay... well... until last night that is. No, wait.. night before last night. I was on my way home from training class and we had stopped to pick up some papers for our D&D game that night when my mom called. The girls were at my house alone and the prowler tried to open the door then came right up to my kitchen window and put his face to it looking right in. The computer desk is right by this window and Kristen was at the computer. It freaked her out, she screamed her sister ran out the front door to see where this guy was going and then they called my mom. I called the cops and headed home. They filed a report, but there is not really much they can do. He did give a suggestion. Turn off all lights, and leave the door unlocked. Sit quietly around a corner or something, where he couldn't see me until he was already in, and then (and I quote) 'blast him'. I don't know if I could do that exactly, and we have no gun anyway, but we keep a baseball bat by the door and if I ever get the chance to, I bet I could wack him one with that bat (or maybe two... or three...). I'm at my wits end. It's not fair to walk out of your house and never know if someone is watching you. And I'm gonna be honest here LJ, my house does not look like the house of someone who has lots of money and cool shit to steal. We have two obviously broken down cars in the driveway. Our shed had a tree fall on it and we have never found the motivation, or cash to fix it. Our house is not painted, only the window seals are and those are chipping and falling apart. I'm just gonna come out and say it, our house looks like shitty ass shack where poor people live. Because it kinda is. Don't get me wrong though, I LOVE my little house and it's great on the inside (according to me), but from the outside... we look like a bunch of rednecks. So why, when there are several nice looking house around whose occupants would have nice stuff to steal do they keep trying to break into MY house!? It really makes me question their motives. WHY MY HOUSE!?!?

Been playing D&D with my nieces a lot lately, Kristen actually tried her hand at being the Dungeon Master, and she got it. I mean, there could be some improvements. But, she is twelve years old, and grasped the concept of D&D enough to make her own functional campaign. Her campaign last night was way better than the first. She is so proud of herself. It was a lot of fun. I love those girls.

Oh, so we took the kids to see Alice in Wonderland for their Easter present, yes I have seen it for the third time. Afterward we snuk into see How to Train your Dragon, OMG I must be such a kid because I FREAKING loved that movie. There are not enough movies in the world with friendly dragons. I love dragon movies/books.

Well, that's all I'm going to bore you guys with today. I've got to stop going so long between posts, because then I post to much or forget about all the great stuff I was supposed to post about.

life sucks, prowler, yah it sucks, rant, d&d, neices, i'm such a kid, movies
