Continuation of adventures

... then there were days of nothingness - I really do not remember exactly what I was doing. Something sweet and pleasant, probably - nothing exraordinarly bad happened. But still: I cannot live without finding events that involve me into them.... eeehhh. Yea.

So, even before the new year I started searching for the part time job. It is difficult, when u don't know Korean, and when you are not happened to be a native speaker. Sent dozens of resumes and cover letters, got only two responds. One was from the guy who needed a CAUCASIAN with ASSOCIATE degree. So, a bit suspicious. But still, I decided to meet him. And on January 1st went to the station which is in 2 hours' distance from Hoegi (the place I stay). Then this guy came (when he first called me I thought I was talking to a black American. Or any nationality, but BLACK. Which alone was quite alerting. When he called me the second time, he somehow magically acquired Korean accent. I was really confused I had no clue of whom to expect to meet.)

Short, weaselly, too talkative Korean in late thirties. With awful, disgusting black accent (with all that "howayou dooooin', maaaaaan") When he saw me, told that I was looking quite differently, and even better than on the photo, and he would have offered me a job of a fashion model if he could (I wanted to vomit.) Then we went to the "interview"  to the apartment block in 5 minutes' distance from the station. On the door of the apartment there was a small sign with some religious organisation. WEIRD! Inside two ajyossi's (old guys) were sitting on the floor picking their cell phones. One made us nice red ginseng tea, and the second was the owner of the place (and had his own real estate agency - if to believe the shortie.) After a couple of common questions about the time I have available to work followed. Then they wanted to drag me to some restaurant to have dinner with them - but I crafted a story about a desperately waiting friend at Suwon, whom I cannot abandon. Well, that was our first meeting. But not the last ;)

Out of curiosity I sometimes end up in very strange situations normal people try to avoid. Second time we met because he promised me to arrange an interview in a kindergarten and we were supposed to talk to the director (or at least the HRmanager of the place.) And really, we went to the kindergarten, but the woman we were talking to was far from being any important person there, who had any right to make any decisions. and he offered really small salary. All in all, it was not worthy of my efforts. After the kindergarten he told me to stay because a friend of his (the one with a real estate agency) was coming there to talk to me about the translation of the rent contract from Russian into English (he had some Russian clients - again, if to believe the dumpling.) These guys took me to the almost drinking place, where i decided to eat for free, drink coke and leave as soon as I had an opportunity to do so. Five offers I heard that night from them:
 - to work at the kindergarten, and then the same day have some private tutoring for kids in the apartment of the religious society)))
- to work as a model for a broadcasting company at Suwon
- to work as a dancer at a night club, or to find girls in Russia to work at night clubs as DANCERS, and he'll provide all docs for their visas
- to be a girlfriend of the guy with the real estate agency (because he's 48, no wife, no kids, lots of money and he likes me)
- or to find a Caucasian girlfriend (and future wife) for this guy

Conclusion: no job and +1 number in a black list :)

Third: positive moments
at least two of them. There are people who are willing to work with me (or to place me in a school to teach english) and I am still full of hope. And there is a Multicultural museum in Seoul that has an educational programme when foreigners come to kindergartens ant teach kids about their culture and language. They don't pay much, but at least something.
