too much action. Aftersound? LOUD!
1. Christmas Salsa party. Went with Natasha (saw her for the second time in my life then) to Suwon campus of KyungHee. Many guys from South America, latino music, dancing, spinning, chatting, less drinking, more resting. At 6 am went back "home" (which means to the dormitary room, where my Bulgarian roommate was not sleeping and studying Korean - as usual.) [I suspect that she's a robot]
2. New Year. The Russian Federation is a vast country! It has 10 time zones! WHY???!!!!
well, we didn't have enough energy to "meet" the New Year all ten times. Stopped on the Moscow time. then - Gangnam and completely empty spacious coffee-shop, lazy morning, people running in one direction. Those who ran in an opposite way were regarded to be mutineers. Tired came back to the dorm, where my roommate was ... studying Korean. I told u she was a robot!
3. After-party. January 2nd. Dark pub near the dorm. Seo (a girl from my institute) and her four gorgeous Korean men. Just drinking. Just talking, then moving to another place. and drinking again. 5 o'clock. we are heading back to homes to take a nap. I go up to my room and see... no one! Room mate in the studyroom drilling Korean. OMG!
Outcome: +10 friends on FB; + several really nice people I was lucky to get to know. I am in love with salsa, cakes from Tous le Jours and a brilliant Korean guy.
Conclusion: Korea doesn't know how to have fun on the New Year's eve; and social life doesn't exist in the mountain resort, where the Institute of Peace Studies is situated.
