Well, I finally got myself a gmail account (Thank you again Uri!), now comes the dastardly task of transferring everything from my hotmail account to gmail.
There have been a mass of things going on lately, I do not have the time or patients to talk about them all at once so I'll have to break them down one by one.
On Tuesday I somehow managed to run over a nail. I thought something was odd when I kept hearing a clicking sound emulating from my car. When I went to check it out, I found the little annoyance was stuck in my left front tire. Luckily, it was one of those nails with the large plastic guard on the head, so no air was able to escape. Sooner or later though, I knew that my luck was going to run out with that tire and it would either explode or deflate at a very fast rate.
The next day I went to one of the local tire shops and bought two new tires (I didn't want any further problems with having both new and old front tires so I figured I'd try and be smart and replace them both). $105 and 20 minutes later, my car was as good as new...sorta (it still had it's other problems).
I thought everything was fine now, until I took a trip up to my sister's place on Thursday night. The trip there was going good as usual and all, until I got off the freeway....a minute or so after that I heard this strange squealing sound coming from, seemingly, right next to my door. I sped up a bit, not really knowing what else to do, and watched as something shiny rolled off the road in my rearview mirror. It took me about 30 seconds or so to realize that that was my fucking hubcap.
Needless to say, I went back and got it only to find that there was now a rather large crack in it that ensured it to slide off my tire very easily, all the damn time.
So...now I need to go get some other hubcaps...ones that aren't busted all to hell.
Little note: For some reason I am having difficulty finishing up the rest of my "Improving on imperfections" sections, but the rest will be up sooner than later.
