Today, my mom put my beloved pet Cleo down. Unfortunately, Cleo hasn't really been eating the last few weeks. She is also pooping and puking everywhere. My mom brought her to the vet but they really can't find anything wrong with her and my mom won't put her through a battery of tests. I actually don't care too much that Michael Jackson passed on. I mean, I was shocked yes just at his sudden demise, but all that sad, not really. I lost 1 pound last week!! I'm really happy about this. I know it's minor but it's a start. I ate really good last week and I hope to continue healthier eating in the future. Snot of 'Puke & Snot' Fame passed away on Monday.

How sad! Puke and Snot was one of the best parts of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. He was only 57 too. So young.

(This post probably makes no sense to most of you, but if you're a Minnesotan who has been to the Renaissance Festival, you'll recognize him I think.)

Minnesota author Jon Hassler (Staggerford and other titles) has died.

I'm so sad. First Clarke, now Hassler. Granted, Hassler doesn't have quite the legacy of Arthur C. Clarke, but still, he was an excellent writer. I keep wondering which author will be next to pass on.

I'm sure this is all over your flist already but holy cow, I'm in shock. He was so talented and seemed lika such a nice, straightforward guy for an actor. How sad.
