Sex On Ice Encore: Kings & Penguins Practices

Anyhow, Thursday Rosalyn and I were originally supposed to have breakfast at the Canadian Cafe, but it was closed. I didn't know they had changed their hours again. So we ended up having breakfast at Europane. Originally she was supposed to go to w/ me to practice, but she wasn't feeling well. So we said our goodbyes and took the nearest bus. Me on the other hand went to the Del Mar station to catch the Gold Line. It took me 1 1/2 hours to get from the Del Mar Station in Pasadena to Mariposa Station in El Segundo. I took all Gold, Red, Blue and Green Lines just to get to Toyota Sports Center.
I got there a bit late, but at least the Kings were practicing. I went to the Team LA store to get my 3rd jersey customized. I almost got an Anze Kopitar road jersey in hopes I got it for $75, but when I saw the tag, it had 2 prices that needed to be added together: the jersey alone and the customizations. So I was nah I can't afford another jersey and stuck w/ the customization. I ended up getting Anze Kopitar on my jersey (it was a toss up between Anze Kopitar or Dustin Brown). I watched a little of the Kings practice, and chatted w/ Mike, the guy I always see at practice. He told me that the Pens had already practiced this morning and I was all... NO WAY! That was the main reason why I wanted to go to practice today.
To make sure he wasn't lying, I had to ask the front desk and even the Red Coats. They all told me that they already practice. Even Darryl (Darryl Evans if case you didn't know) was at the Red Coats booth, and he told me that the team can change their practice schedule or cancel practice anytime. They did tell me to call back at 10 tomorrow since I saw their schedule that they were having another practice.
When the Kings' practice was over, I went outside as usual ready to meet the Kings players. By then Natalie found me and we spent the rest of the time chatting. The players took forever to get out. Luckily I was able to meet Cammy, Anze & Dustin. Cammy was his usual sweet self. Brownie was always on a rush but still signed, and Anze's hands were full but he had a big gigantic siggy. I also saw a brace on his right wrist and I was all to myself... "Oh no! Anze you can't get hurt! We need him on the ice!" So I asked him what happend and he said "nothing". At least he's assuring that he's okay and is still able to play. Anyways, I thanked him and told him to feel better soon.
Since it was getting late, Natalie and I decided to leave... I was able to catch almost all the lines in time and I got home sooner than expected. However, the trip alone drained me and I couldn't do much the rest of the night.

My Anze Jersey
Yesterday: I went to the Penguins practice. I had to call TSC twice to make sure they were there. By the time I got to TSC, they had just arrived while the Kings had just finished their practice. I was waiting for Natalie since she was coming. After a while, I decided to go in and have lunch since I was pretty much dying since I didn't have breakfast at all (a venti caramel macchiato is not enough). As I got in, the Pens boys had just got on the ice. So I was watching bits of the practice at the food court area. When I was done, Natalie had found me and from there we went to the ice.
We were mostly watching the players on the ice doing drills and stuff while taking pix. I thought we would be the only girls there until Sam joined us. She too was taking pix and stuff. I prolly took hundreds of pix to the point where my camera battery was running low. So Sam offered to send me some pix just if case my battery dies off. So I had my camera off the rest of the time while watching or taking pix w/ my camera phone. Some high lights from practice. Marc-Andre Fleury and Sidney Crosby kept smacking eachother w/ their sticks. It was too cute. I love when these 2 flirt w/ eachother.
When the Pens' practice was over, we headed over to their bus. There wasn't as many ppl. as we would've expected to be, but there was still a handful of ppl. w/ cards, helmets, magazines, pucks, jerseys, ect. We were the only girls there. While I took most of the players coming out, I managed to get my pix w/ Colby Armstrong and Fleur while Sam got her pix w/ Jordan Staal and Fleur too. While some players signed plenty, others just went in the bus right away. I was still looking and waiting for Maxime Talbot to come out, but I haven't seen him or might've missed him. Then Sid finally comes out, but surrounded by a couple agent dudes. He was told that he had to go, but Sid signed for a very very few ppl. He was standing right in front of me, and I could've gotten him to sign my book, but I was too busy taking pix of him despite my camera running so slow all thanx to the battery. He did get to sign Sam's shirt before being forced to leave for the bus. Since the bus had to leave, we all got out of the way and went our own ways.
I was dissappointed that I missed Maxime. I so would've caught him and asked him had I saw him. I didn't see him. He could've gotten out the other way and snuck in the bus. I didn't see Rex (Mark Recchi) come out either.
Other that that, seeing the Pens and meeting Colby and Fleur so made my day and my birthday week complete. It wouldn't had been possible if it wasn't for Natalie and Sam-especially when she took my Colby pic w/ her camera. So thank you all.
So we all went our own ways, and I got home much earlier than expected. I spent the rest of the night watching the Flames/Blue Jackets game and Oilers/Stars game while listening to the LB Ice Dogs game. Damn, this year's team sucks! The Ice Dogs have yet to win. The more I miss last year's team.
