First time in a while I finally could sleep in before class since my class doesn't start until 2:40.
However, I was rudely awaken by my cell phone rining, my mom calling. That pissed me off, especially when I was in a middle of a dream plus my hand was numb.
So I spent most of my mornings going online before getting ready for class.
I left my house 10 minutes before 1 figuring there may be some traffic on the road plus parking may be hard to find, got to Pasadena in about 15-20 minutes since I took the freeway, and got lunch at Wahoo's Fish Tacos. I got to the campus about 20 minutes before class since it took so long to get my food (all thanx to this lady before me who ordered a shitload of food for her and supposively her co-workers) giving me little time to eat. Luckily I scarfed down one taco while driving... It'd take a bite each time I was stopped at a stoplight.
Anyways, I ate a bit more before heading over to class, to later find out that class didn't start until 2:40. So I kinda got to class too early for nothing. So I went back and ate a little bit more and went to the computer lab and got caught up w/ LJ before heading over to class.
I was hoping we'd go through the syllabus and leave right away, but nooooooo... Jerry took friggin forever and ever to go through the syllabus as well as out class assignment. I was really getting antsy because I couldn't go online during lectures plus I couldn't pick up my parents at the bus stop (so I had to inform them that I'd be running late and everything like that). In fact, I won't be allowed to go online and sneek onto LJ during classtime, especially lectures because Jerry wants the computers off. At least Rick was cool with us sneeking online. Him and Paul the TA didn't seem to care whether we were online or not. Now Jerry is a bit more strict when it comes to going online, plus Alex the TA kinda gave me the suspicious look or something like that. So I may try to sneek in when necessary or during my break. Otherwise, I may either be on during the day or after class which will be kinda late. Anyways, we weren't dismissed until 15 minutes until 6.
After class, was hell... My mom wasn't picking up her cell phone, cell phone issues, parking traffic was HELL!!!, this one asshole in his gigantic pick up truck almost hit me, and more traffic on the road.
I had to stop by at Johnson's Motor Company to get more info. on Vespas, since I may work on designing a brochure for Vespas for my class assignment. All I got was a business card for one of the Vespa dealerships in Hollywood, but at least the guy was being pleasant. ^^ The only things that calmed me down and cheered me up were getting a Smorkin' Labbit and some ice blended Cocomama drink at the Equator. Otherwise, it was all HELL for me.
As soon as I got home, I had dinner, and got caught up with other things... Things could only get worse in hockey land...
I didn't get to watch any of the hockey games b/c I woke up too late to watch some games plus I couldn't find the remote and of course I had classes...

The players who I despise the most on that team not to mention why I really couldn't root for Team USA took most of those penalties. BASTARDS!!!!!!!!
Yay for Olli Jokinen for kicking ass in this game and helping Team Finland win. At least Craig Conroy got an assist, but I really feel so bad for him because he didn't deserve to lose plus I'd love to see him win a medal since it was his first Olympics and could be his last because he's getting old. Poor Conny. :(

BOO!!! I wanted Canada to go far, but nothing... Not even a goal. DAMN YOU STUPID PENALTIES!!!!!!!!! As sad as it sounds and how much I liked Team Canada, I'd rooted for Team Canada more had Sidney Crosby made the team. Therefore I really wasn't feeling it for Team Canada that much although I wanted them to go all the way. BASTARDS for cutting him!!!! Ah well, it's long over...
And things can get very very very ugly... And very offensive (especially if you like Jaromir Jagr-it won't be very Jagr friendly)...

Seeing that score makes me want to cry... Seriously, when I first saw those scores, I was on the verge of tears. It was just sickening seeing Team Czech Republic win not because Team Slovakia was my #1 team throughout the whole Olympics not to mention prior to this game they were undefeated, but there are certains players or more so of one player that I despise the most from Team Czech Republic thus I really couldn't root for them. 2 words... Jaromir Jagr. No offense to any Jagr fans on my friends list, but I HATE HIM!!!! I CANNOT STAND HIM AT ALL!!!! Many years ago I used to like him. In fact, when the Czechs won the gold in Nagano, I was ecstatic. I used to have pix of Jagr on my walls in my room and even my dorm room door when I lived in the dorms. Ever since he started to be pissy over the Pens because of his contract and before he got traded to the Caps, I have since then looked down at him, and my hatred towards him has even grown. >:O
To add insult to injury, Pavs got hit on the face by a puck. Rumor has it that he could be out for at least a month. Poor Pavs. :( I hope you feel mucho better. Otherwise, the Kings are royally screwed!
I'm really sad tha Pavs and Lubo as well as Tomas Surovy aren't in the medal rounds. They busted their asses off the whole Olympics to only lose to one of my least favorite teams in the Olympics. ;__;
Overall, pretty much all the teams I wanted to advanced (except for Team Matti Norstrom) all lost. ;__;
I shall not say anymore because I'll jinx myself, but I want Team Matti Norstrom, Team Russia and Team Olli Jokinen to each get medals... ^^ These are the only teams worth rooting for...
On a non Olympic note, the Wildcats lost to the Voltigeurs. Unlike the game vs. Remparts which I hate oh so much (DIE GRANNIE RADULOV DIE!!!!!!! >:O ), I'll let this game slide since the Voltigeurs are my 2nd favorite Q team behind the Wildcats plus Derrick "Barely Legal" Brassard got all 3 points (2 G, 1A) for his team... Otherwise, had either team played against another Q team (especially the ones I hate the most) and both lost, that'd add to the shittyness going on in hockey land...
Overall, the whole Olympic blows!!! I'd watch or perhaps listen to this year's World Juniors any day. Maybe I'm getting bitter over the fact that there's no NHL hockey. I really do miss NHL Hockey games... I miss being able to watch games on NHL Center Ice, even if I fall asleep or wander off online while watching the games... Most of all, I miss my Kings boys... I can't wait until NHL season resumes... I'm also missing the Pens, Canucks & Bruins...
At least there are some bright things that went on today aside from Team Sweden winning... At least in my graphic design class, most of my friends including Phil, David, Nick and Jon are all in that class. Amazingly Nick has been in all 3 of my graphic design classes. I forgot to mention that Justin is in my other class, although he's taking the Art 51A class while I'm taking Art 51B.
Also, Jon told me that the reason why either one of us has yet to hear from the TA job position is that Jerry has yet to submit the job applications we filled out to Claudette. He told me that the applications were on the bottom pile, have yet to be looked over. So there's hope. However, I'm still not counting on it because they should have all of the TAs hired by now. At least there's one TA in my graphic design class (Alex).
Well that's all for now. Somehow I'm in such a bad mood that I really don't want to talk to anyone right now. I really more time to myself right now... I do however want you all to cheer me up and make me feel better. Please write me some slash fics, especially hockey slash, pic spam me, or simply give me a cyber hug or whatever.
