The Continuation of Saturday Night... I'm pretty sure nobody (maybe except a couple of you) will read this...
Since I had to rush through my last entry, I left out some bits from the show plus I didn't add the post show part... Anyways...
Chiodos: I didn't fully get to match names with faces (or perhaps instruments) prior to their set because I was more into their music than the guys themselves. I do have to admit that Jason, the guitarist from Chiodos, was freaking fine!!!! Not only was he hella hot, but he had nicely sculpted arms and biceps (I'm a sucker for biceps and arms) not to mention he had a nice bod. Even his mini bball jersey suits him well. RawR RawR! And of course Craig was uber adorable while bassist Matt had nice hair. Aside from their kick ass stage presence, they were some eye candies to look at as well. ;) BTW... Jason got his bball jersey at LaBamba since he still had the tag on plus we saw him there earlier...
Boys Night Out: Each time someone told the band to play their old stuff, but Connor kept saying no. He did mentioned that they'll play their older stuff on their next coming tour.
As for the post show...
puckplayer42 and I went back in line to get more merch. We also met Craig from Chiodos. Despite getting swamped by a mob of people (which was a suprise b/c I was expecting more people to go after Ben), he was nice... I did overhear him say that Jason was drunk in the back b/c someone asked where he was at... (Back then I didn't exactly know who he was).
Then we got out and walked around looking for Jason in hopes of meeting him so that I can tell him how we saw him shopping at LaBamba and stuff (I did the same to HIPV Joe long long ago when I spotted him at The Attic and we'd talk about vintage clothes), but we didn't find him. We were about to leave when all of a sudden we spotted Ben. So we met up w/ him and had our pix taken while
puckplayer42 chatted with him. He too was swamped with people, but not as much as Craig though. Then we also met up w/ Anthony of Armor For Sleep. We waited for Jason to come out, but by then it was getting late, it was getting cold, and we were both tired. So we called it the night and went home...
I'm gonna repost the pix since many of more than likely missed it since I added them late. Plus I'll make things easier for those who have 56K and/or who are lazy to scroll down to the previous entry. :P
Craig < 333 from Chiodos
Anthony from Armor For Sleep
puckplayer42 and Anthony
puckplayer42 and Ben from Armor For Sleep
A very shitty pic of me and Ben
Unlike the pic I took of
puckplayer42 and Ben, the pic above turned out so crappy b/c that pic was taken on
puckplayer42's camera, and he didn't have the flash on. The pic turned out very dark, but this was the best he and I could do to make the pic look possible.
Sunday: Mostly relaxation and catch up time for me since I've been out and around... I did watch Team USA win the Bronze Medal. I'm still bitter that they lost to Sweden in the Semifinals, but I'm glad they didn't let the lost get to them, and beat Team Finland for the Bronze. Great job Team USA. Although I missed the game, Team Canada beat Sweden and took the gold which made me happy. GO TEAM USA & CANADA!!!!! Great job ladies! :D
Yesterday: Went to my aunt's house for a lunch together to celebrate my grandpa's birthday (although he's been dead for over 9 years, the memories still live on). I also got to see my aunt's cats I haven't seen for ages, Hamletta and Luna. Although both cats are bitches (not friendly compared to my cat), at least they are much friendlier than before. At least they didn't scratch and bite me, but both cats still hate strangers and Hamletta kept wimpering each time I'd pet her. I know it's random, but I'm a total cat person...
Today: I finally started Spring Semester. I just got my syllabus plus my class assignment. I have to make a book cover for my typography class using a well known novel (preferably). I decided to do Pictures of Dorian Gray, but I had to cheat a bit and by the Sparknotes version of it for research purposes since it's been years since I read that book (I kinda had to read it for my English class in the 10th grade) plus I didn't understand it too well and finish reading it since the book itself was too hard to read (back then I hated reading so much). Now that I'm older, hopefully reading The Pictures of Dorian Gray will be easier. In fact, I got that book a while ago, but I still have yet to read it. So after class I had to stop by at Barnes and Noble to pick up the Sparknotes version of The Pictures of Dorian Gray. I was originally supposed to get those Sparknotes version of The Pictures of Dorian Gray, but I found myself getting the Hockey News, The Hockey News Future Watch and Luc Robataille's Yearbook since at this point these are rare finds considering the fact the the Burbank Barnes and Noble is lame for not selling enough hockey goodies...
I also watch Team Slovakia beat Team Sweden 3-0 while Team Conroy loses to Team Russia 5-4, but at least they made it to the quarter finals.
So here's how the remaining match ups for Men's Ice Hockey Goes...
Team Conroy vs. Team Finland (aka Team Olli Jokinen): I'm rooting for Team Conroy for Craig Conroy's sake! I do miss Team Tukonen (from the World Juniors) though.
Team Canada vs. Team Russia: I'm rooting for Team Canada hands down! Sorry Frolly...
Team Sweden vs. Team Switzerland: I'm rooting for Team Sweden (despite their coach's harsh comments towards the team).
Team Slovakia vs. Team Czech Republic: I'm rooting for Team Slovakia hands down!!!!
As for the job situation, I no word for the TA situation. 2nd time I got shot down, but it's not the end of the world. However, I'm still getting frustrated because I feel like I need to get a job right right away, but at the same time I can't find anything that's just right for me. The past couple weeks or so I've been looking for job listings on Craigslist and Monster. I've found some rather interesting jobs on Craigslist. Otherwise, I haven't found any jobs that best suits me because either I'm too underqualified for those jobs or whatever job best suits me is way too far for me which is very inconvienient since I'm still taking classes. Not to be picky, but I also have to consider getting to the job as soon as class is over plus the insane L.A. traffic.
I will however try to do some back medical office work at my aunt's work in Alhambra, since I have some experience doing back medical office work. It's totally out of my field of interest, but at least it's better than nothing. If the medical office deal doesn't work out, then I'll either try to be an apprentice for my cousin's graphic design company (although a paid job is strongly preferred), do volunteer work at some museums in the Pasadena area, and if all else fails, I can try Aaron Brothers... Although if that means sacrificing my weekends, at least it's close enough to my field of interest.
Well, that's all for now. I end this entry with a couple of Armor For Sleep videoclips for you all. If you're taking those videoclips, please do comment first so that I know who's taking them. Thanx a lot.
Alrighty, have a wonderful night! ^__^

Comments required when taking those videos. Therefore, please don't take w/o commenting first. Otherwise I guess optional since it's a bunch of jibberish...
