Kings Rink Tour & Other Stuff
Sorry if I haven't had an entry lately. I've been busy with finals and stuff plus I've been too lazy to update. Also, before going back down the list of icons, I thought I'd pimp out my sexy Guillaume Latendresse icon...
Anyways, Sunday I went to Pasadena to do last minute printing before taking off to the Pasadena Ice Skating Rink for the Kings' hockey rink tour. Before getting there, the suspense was killing me since I had no idea who'd be there. Of all the Kings players, George Parros, Eric Belanger and the Sexy Slovakian Sweethearts Pavol Demitra and Lubomir Vishnovsky were there.
It was alright, but the actual rink was a bit cramped since there were lots of people including parents watching their sons (or daughter) from the Pasadena Maple Leafs team skate with the players. It was sooooooooo precious seeing all of these little kids in full hockey gear.
After the on ice drill, then everyone went outside where they had the Q & A session. It was soooooo cute and funny especially when most of the kids were asking the players just about anything including questions like which player's equipment stinks the most, if they could beat up Sean Avery, and more... Lice from letsgokings.com covered a big chunk of the Q & A session here.
I did ask if the guys were nervous about playing against Alexander Ovechkin, and EBel responded by saying that he should be nervous play against him...
The best answer of them all was when one kid asked what the guys what they plan to do after they retire from hockey, and EBel jokingly responded: "I EAT CHIPS ON THE COUCH!" You'll likely get it if you had a chance to/when you'll watch Desperate Hockey Wives (I'll have the clip posted shortly). I'll never forget these words he said... He was soooooooo comical throughout the Q & A session.
And his heavy French accent along w/ Pavol's & Lubo's sexy Slovakian accent made me weak on the knees. Gotta love sexy foreign accents, especially from hockey players. ;)
I couldn't get any pix of me w/ the players, but I was able to get pix from the ice and Q & A session. I also grabbed a bunch of stuff including posters and autographed pix of the guys. I really wished Cammy would've been there though, but Eric's being too funny and the accents made up for it. ;) I did later found out that Cammy & Glee were at the Ontario rink. astormyday: You & I should've taken a little road trip to Ontario so that we could've seen and even kidnap our Kings boys.... Tehehehe... Hopefully next time!

Yesterday I had my final presentation for my Graphic Design class. I just had to turn in my dvd I made for my final project and see all of the past work we had. Afterwards, I did some mini X-mas shopping at the Galleria and returned the gift I was supposed to give to one of funiculus's friends (as part of her Friends List gift exchange) since I found a better gift for that person. Later that night I got my package from kaorirose, and she got Chole, my iPod some bling for her (one of those gem stones cover). Thank you so much! Chole is now so blinged out!
Today was my off day, so aside from bumming around the house, I went shopping at Office Depot as well as Target. I got myself a cheap thermal top and knee high comfy slipper socks. I also got socks for Chole to keep herself warm. Since there were 3 socks in one pack, I used another one for my cell phone.
As I was checking my e-mail, I got an e-mail from Acura. Normally, I'd mark e-mails like that as spam, but this one was worth checking out b/c it has my dream car... The Acura TSX. When the time is right and Roxy starts pooping out on me, then that's when I want to get my dream car... ;)
Tomorrow I have to pick up my work for my figure drawing class and turn in my lock for my locker. I may spend the rest of my day doing some mini X-mas shopping or stop by at the Canadian Cafe. Then of course I'll be watching the Kings vs. Caps game.
Thursday I have my final presentation for my typography.
Lastly, This Video made me cry a bit. Poor Jiri... I hope you feel better soon. I wish you a speedy recovery and best of luck with your health and future.

If you're wondering what Desperate Hockeywives is, it was a mini segment show during Break The Ice (the Kings' pregame show). It has Craig Conroy's, EBel's & Derek Armstrong's wives complaining how their hubbys were lazy and everything. It's sooooo funny.
In fact, I made a video capture all thanks to my digital camera & I'm gonna share it with you all.
Please keep in mind it's a big file, so please be patient when you download it. Also, please excuse the black lines and the music from the background. I guess the tape was being all weird and stuff and I had forgotten that I had my music playing on my computer. Lastly, please excuse the shaking because I was getting tired holding the camera for so long. Anyways, enjoy!
