I didn't want to end the year with that sad-sack entry from last night, so before I need to start getting ready for tonight's festivities, here is that meme from a couple of weeks ago that I had a lot of fun with. Least Favorite character: Logan, it's really childish how much I still hate him at this point
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Veronica/Weevil, Duncan/Veronica, Dick/Mac, Leo/Veronica and I'm going to throw a bone and say Norris/Veronica
Character I find most attractive: At the time, probably Leo
Character I would marry: Once again, Leo is the steady, smart choice for a life partner.
Character I would be best friends with: In all honesty, Veronica and Mac would probably have intimidated me. I think if I had lived in Wallace and Piz's dorm in college, I probably would have wandered into their room a lot and hung out.
A random thought: There is this picture that I have saved somewhere, it's a promo shot from the first season, before the show aired. And it's Veronica seated between Weevil and Duncan, who are standing behind her, with their backs to each other...That kind of shot is the kind of things that makes me really, honestly believe that that was the intended

I definitely loved Duncan more than Logan. I totally understand you on that one.

When of if I started shipping it: I think off the promos for season 1, I was mostly rooting for Jess/Schmidt, because I had already loved Max Greenfield in Veronica Mars, but I jumped ship over to Jess/Nick very quickly. I think ep 2 (Kryptonite) was really the one that sealed the deal when Nick helped Jess stand up to Spencer.
My thoughts: I actually hope they keep their slow burn up for as long as possible. It's always a fine line, because if they wait *too* long, that gets annoying too.
What makes me happy about them: Gosh, they are amazing. I relate to them so much, at this age and point in my life. Watching that show is like therapy for me.
What makes me sad about them: I don't think anything really?
Things done in fanfic that annoys me: I'm so super selective about reading fic, really. If I don't know the writer, I usually scan it really quick before reading to make sure it's okay. Bad characterization is the thing that annoys me, but that's for any character, couple or fandom.
Things I look for in fanfic: Hee, *good

Yay! I'm so obsessed with Thea, I made her my new default icon.

Favorite character: Oliver. It's sort of my thing, my favorite is always the title character, but I'm pretty obsessed with Thea and Willa Holland's face, too.
Least Favorite character: My least favorite was Helena's father, and kind of Helena too. I think they were just really poorly cast.
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): I don't know if I have that many yet? Thea/Tommy, Oliver/Thea (I know), Moira/Walter, Laurel/Tommy (once again, I know), and Laurel/Oliver. (I guess I do have that many.)

Oh, I love Thea too, but Oliver is definitely my favorite. I love the Thea/Oliver bro/sis relationship. And I love Tommy. I think he and Laurel are cute, but I want him with Thea, and I want Laurel with Oliver (at this point).

Oliver and Tommy both need to get their shit together a little (er...a lot). Haha. Yes, yes they do. But Tommy is seemingly trying. Oliver...has some issues (being Green Arrow) that you would have to be very understanding about. LOL.

Do not like Helena either. I never felt her. I understand why Oliver liked her because he didn't have to lie to her, but I feel like he just kind of disregarded his own safety (and John's...how I love) to try to help her which you knew was going to turn out bad. Ugh. And she'll probably be showing up again...

I also love Felicity (the IT girl)!

I will be pretty good with Laurel/Oliver if that means that we are clearing a path for Thea/Tommy (though that's definitely the direction the show is going in anyway...they are married in the comics, fyi.)

SERIOUSLY ALL NIGHT I CAN DO THIS.

Well, I probably need to go to bed eventually, but...

How I feel about this character: I am obsessed with her! So obsessed, after watching all of the aired episodes in two days!
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Like, everyone? Tommy, that's probably my serious OTP. Oliver (I KNOW, HELL IN A HANDBASKET). And I'm open to the idea of her with Roy (actual Speedy from the comics, who's been cast and will be shown later this season).
My non-romantic OTP for this character: I like the relationship she has with Walter a lot. Like, that little throwaway line that he drives her to school and they like to talk in the car. I don't know, I'm just really obsessed with all the dynamics in the Queen-Steele family. And I also feel like maybe she used to look up to Laurel.
My unpopular opinion about this character: ...I have no idea what's popular at this point?
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Even though I'm excited to see Roy, I wish that

ME TOOOOOO. Like Walter is such a buttoned up guy and Thea is so wild but I love that they seem to connect and have this special bond anyway.

Oh, I love this idea! I've been wanting them to have more scenes together and it would be really interesting if this were true and maybe Laurel pushed her away after Oliver 'died.' Thea and Laurel could be pushed together in some way and they could be angsty for a while but then make up and become bffs. I would love to see Thea with a good solid friendship!

Um...I *hope* she is the next person to find out about Oliver's other life.

Like, I love that Walter seems to really have realized that he was marrying into a family, a hurt and fractured family at that and really works at his relationship with not just Moira, but her children too, and appropriates it to each of their ages and situations. He's just a really good man.

Like, if Laurel was the same age as Oliver and Tommy (and I believe it's been implied that she is), she'd be ten years older than Thea, and I can see her really thinking that her brother's girlfriend was so cool when she was a little kid.
