I finished How I Met Your Mother last night (or at least caught up to the latest episode, so I will be able to finish out the season with you all). I'm pretty sure it's the fastest I've watched six seasons of a show (in probably a little less than two weeks, but the half hour format helped...) I never freaked out about any of the girlfriends. In my head, he meets her, and he says "and that's how I met your mother." And then the show's over, lol. So, if the arc continued on at all past their first meeting, I knew it couldn't be the mom.

I have to say, that would really piss me off if there was ZERO payoff of meeting the mother.

I don't really know how much I want. Maybe an hour-long wrap-up episode for everybody, but after he meets the mother, but I don't need much more than that. It is the name of the show, after all.

Yeah, but I kind of like the way everything has developed, like, it's not the destination, it's how you got there. I want to know how they get there!

I think it almost has to be Barney and Robin's wedding at this point, just because the bride is asking to see Ted. If it were Punchy's wedding, I don't know why his bride to be would want to see him.

I'm still pissed that they blew the Rachel Bilson casting on a not-the-mother. SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN SO PERFECT.
