It's 5:45 pm and I'm drinking wine in bed. Welcome to my world.
DWTS tonight...and I even voted last night! I've *never* voted this early in the season.
For Lacey and Mike! I'm not rooting for them to win, but I would like to see him stick around and entertain me with his pretty smile and pretty pecs for another few weeks. And he was *very* improved last night- a lot of people didn't really *get* the jive (hello, Mark Ballas) and his flicks and kicks were on point. (Listen to me, 'flicks and kicks'.) Fingers crossed for tonight.
fromiftowhen was doing that always-fun meme, where she gives you a letter and you upload your five favorite songs that start with it [that letter]. She gave me C.
Now, I fully know that most of you probably already have these, but these seriously are some of my all-time favorites. Now I'm tweaking this meme just a slight:
If you want to play, ask for a letter, and I'll give you just that, or you can ask for 'genre' or 'word', and you'll have to upload songs of a particular genre (country, hiphop, etc. or love song, dance song, etc.) or 'word', and you'll get a word (green, snow, etc....you know what words are.)
Chasing Cars (Snow Patrol)All that I am, all that I ever was
Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see
The Cave (Mumford & Sons)I'll find strength in pain, and I will change my ways
I'll know my name as it's called again
City (Sara Bareilles)Here in these deep city lights, a girl can get lost sometimes
I'm finding every reason to be gone, there's nothing here to hold on to
Colorblind (Counting Crows)I am covered in skin, no one gets to come in
Pull me out from inside, I am ready, I am ready, I am fine
Chances (Five For FightingI'm just a realistic man, a bottle filled with shells and sand
Afraid to love beyond what I could lose when it comes to you
YOU GET A BONUS, BECAUSE APPARENTLY I LOVE C SONGS:
Come Home (One Republic)Hello world, I hope you're listening, forgive me if I'm young or speaking out of turn
But there's someone I've been missing, I think that they could be the better half of me
