Lovely Complex (Anime)
I guess there is no prejudice when it comes to love, may it be age, race... in this case height.
Lovely Complex or LovCon for short is an anime about a tall guy and a short girl. This first episode just brushes up on the characteristics and attitude of the two main characters Koizumu and Otani... which is really far from a love story! They are more like a comedy act! A comedy act that has portential for something else... hmm... The first episode has not yet laid out their feelings for each other but there are lovely and funny hints where it would lead. Enough of the summary, I really have no intention of giving out spoilers. But obviously this is a romantic-comedy anime about a tall girl and a short guy so there's no spoiler if I hinted a little bit Koizumi and Otani relationship because that would be obvious.
Anyway I loved the anime... well the first episode, it made me laugh. THe jokes were perfect even if it seemed corny or obvious. Loved Otani's bang-pigtails! hehe Yup Otani is the guy with pigtailed hair! Plus I love the Kansai ben. ええや！
I definitely recommend this anime to anyone... anyone who is looking for a good laugh with a little hint of romance in it! おもろい！
P.S. read the manga, it was great... but not as great as when you watch the comedy parts and listen to the Kansai ben.
