Two Can Be Complete Without the Rest of the World
I appreciate snow so much more now that I don't have to spend all day walking around in it.
I've passed the day by drinking coffee and sitting next to our fireplace with my dog curled up beside me. I've enjoyed watching the snow fall and as I drove around town, I admired how snow makes such a beautiful change to the local landscape. It's actually been quite a pleasant day.
It's days like today that make me appreciate being unemployed and having few responsibilities. I'm allowed to spend the day savoring a winter's moment tranquilly with no external worries or duties.
Maybe if the snow is still around, Andy and I can build a snowman tomorrow. I haven't done that since I was little.
