Slow Down
THANK GOD FOR THE WEEKEND. Cue for me to promptly die from exhaustion. Except that I still have like way too much make-up work to do, so maybe not. Note to self of things I really really need to get done asap:

My aunt is leaving on Monday, and I feel a little bad for looking forward to that. It's nice seeing her after three years, but she makes my business her business way too much. She nags on me about taking my pills, she thinks my project on Charlie Manson is something to be concerned about, and she just blows little things out of proportion. She's always lurking over my shoulder and it's starting to get to me. And...what the fuck. She thinks I'm disturbed and antisocial, and it's hard to get along with someone when I know they think that about me.
But anyways...I've finally started to crack down on the requests I got from a few friends awhile ago. I submitted a picture of a new character, Rosenrot, for Josh (you can find it on my dA at schlimazel.deviantart.com), which I'm pretty satisfied with. Just in time to be a Halloween pic, too. The rest will probably be arriving around Christmastime.
Oh, and before I forget, is anyone else doing NaNoWriMo this year? I planned on trying last year, but didn't really get the chance to come up with something fast enough. This year, I have a few characters mapped out, and I'm trying to cram my plotting into the next few days. I really can't work without a pre-planned plot. I need a writing checklist to get anything done.
On that note, I'm returning from my temporary hiatus on Hogwarts History. Hopefully, my efforts to alter my writing style will make posting my characters a little more exciting. Everytime I posted Salazar or Rowena, I found myself reusing phrases, recycling lines, and it got...boring. So I've switched over to a more experimental technique, which comes more easily to me than the conventional style. I suspect this has something to do with my partiality to writing poetry as of late, something a little more random. That gets wrapped into my prose, and voila. Maybe when I get things sorted out on HH, I'll be able to go back to Accio Magic...but in the meantime, I have other crap to deal with before my roleplaying.
