Smoke
Best wishes going out to firefighters and those on the front lines of these CA wildfires. Lightning storms over the weekend triggered over a hundred fires. Wait . . . I just searched for the latest info and it is not a hundred, it is over 800 fires! Yikes. No wonder our yard looks like we have eight campfires going at once, smoke obscuring the sky and tainting everything grey. No outdoor activities today for sure. We're far from the fires here, but close enough for the crazy smoke. Yuck.
We're not sick anymore! Hurrah! And I'm working on polishing up Dirt to send into the great big world. A dear friend helped with my shiny new beginning and I'm happy. Hopefully I can get the first couple of chapters perfect before our family reunion this weekend. We're off to Asilomar in Monterey to meet with my gazillion cousins and aunts and uncles. We can't wait.
Anika had her first gymnastics show this weekend. They had the little gymnasts go through each skill area to show what they are learning. She is growing so fast!
