100 Super Junior Fiction Challenge:
Title: Snowflakes
Pairing: #84 kyu.hyuk (my 2 special ones ♥)
disclaimer: this is a weird one haha. just cause, when i think of snow i think of how much kyuhyun likes it (and me too ^^) and when i think of snowflakes, i think of this weird info that all snowflakes are 6-sided. forever :) so yeah, kind of a info forced fitted into a story or something? i didn't know how to stuff hyukjae around, so yeah. meh.
Winter is a funny thing.
To one person, the snow of winter is something to be joyful and happy about. Winter was worth rejoicing.
To another though, the wind of winter is something to be worried and sad about. Winter was about being depressed.
Ironic.
Kyuhyun sat in the living room of the dormitory shared by the members and stared out of their large window facing the Han River. Today, the Han River was slowly freezing up and the snow was falling down and down. Very soon, the whole city of Seoul would be covered in snow.
And Kyuhyun was just excited at that idea.
He loved the snow. He had always loved it. Those pretty 6-sided snowflakes enchanted him.
Winter is a time for reflection.
He tilted his head sideways slightly, trying to recall a time when he didn’t love the snow.
But there didn’t seem to be one.
Not quite. There was a time when he disliked the snow whenever it snowed so heavily and he couldn’t go out and play.
Until he found out that every single snowflake was 6-sided.
Hyuk Jae sat up in his bed, sitting alone in his single bedroom. He looked out of the window of his bedroom - the one facing the Han River - and saw it freezing up. Not to mention that the snow was coming down pretty quickly.
To him, winter was cold and freezing. It meant that he had to cover himself up in all those bulky clothes - it meant inconvenience in dancing.
And just that thought alone was horrible.
The piercing cold wind of winter, the foggy, misty environment of winter and that deadly bright white everywhere.
It created nothing but inconvenience for him.
Hyuk Jae finally decided to get out of bed, only to find Kyuhyun sitting alone in the living room staring out at the snow.
“Oh hyung, you’re up,” Kyuhyun said happily after briefly looking at him coming out of the room, all wrapped up in his blanket.
“Why are you staring out of the window so happily? Heechul hyung’s home for once, aren’t you going to go play Starcraft with him?”
“Oh right. But that can wait… oh hyung, did you know that each snowflake is 6-sided?”
