The first draft of this novel was written back in April 2013 during Camp NaNoWriMo. After a few months of letting it sit and then doing a re-read I realized how the entire thing had to be scrapped and re-written. Plenty of writing getting done over her, just not as much as Camp NaNo demands of me. I'm trying not to sweat it too much though. The story is benefiting from me taking my time to mold each section before heading onto the next, even if I don't quite hit my word count goal this month.

Yesterday was spent with family. We had drinks, talked, watched some fireworks, played some board games, and grilled out; all the normal activities for the Fourth of July. It was lots of fun.
