Time is a created thing. To say "I don’t have time" is like saying, "I don’t want to." - Lao Tzu
Many of us feel that we don’t have enough time to spend on the things that we want, need or value. The truth of the matter is that we are in absolute control of where our time goes. So many of us are caught up with just trying to keep up; we often don’t notice where we invest our precious time. And only when we realize what is truly important to us, do we start putting more value on where we spend our time. So this week, try to consciously decide how you’d like to use your time.
List two to three activities, behaviors or situations in your life that you’re currently investing time in that you need to let go of. Write out a couple of steps to help you begin to let go of those things, and then think about activities or situations that you have not been giving enough time to that need attention, or reflect your highest values. Begin to consider the steps you can take to focus your attention on the things that really matter to you.
