It was a good movie! The three hours went quickly and both Dan and the older boy who played Copperfield in the second half of the movie were excellent.

I agree that wee Dan did a wonderful job with his role. This is such a gem of an adaptation; so glad you brought it to my attention! Thoroughly enjoyable.

Yeah, I thought it was a really good movie and kept to the text nearly perfectly. I enjoyed more than I thought I would! :)

I had seen this version of 'David Copperfield' before I even knew who Dan was. I was raised on the classics, particularly the British classics, so I would watch them whenever I got the chance. I did go back and watch it a few years later, once I knew Dan through HP. He was so little and cute! Thanks for this rec!
