I hit the tidepools three more times last week, including one bonus run to southern Monterey County on monday, as it was such a nice day out, and it didn't seem right to stay home and do computer sh*t. And now I've been super busy the rest of this week, so sorting through most of the photos has been bumped down a few tiers on the priority scale

this slug is small (size of a thumbnail) .. even with the bright color they're pretty hard to find....

... but a really good place to go tidepooling is the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, a little bit north of Half Moon Bay. It's easy to access, and pretty flat, and there are always helpful docents on the site who will show you stuff!
