I hit the tidepools three more times last week, including one bonus run to southern Monterey County on monday, as it was such a nice day out, and it didn't seem right to stay home and do computer sh*t. And now I've been super busy the rest of this week, so sorting through most of the photos has been bumped down a few tiers on the priority scale...

It gets its pink color from its food source, the rosy bryozoan. I managed a photo of that, as well, with my camera's macro set to "reaalllly freaking high magnification"
