And I went right on ahead and did it again.

Entering into my last week of work, I hit up the ol' Covent Garden Fopp with a Co Worker (my rather awesome boss, actually) to just go nuts. Fopp pretty much blows my mind everytime. And, even if it is now secretly powered by The Man, HMV's buying of Fopp has proved to be one of the greatest things for me and my discount card. I bought the following:

Sufjan Stevens - Greetings From Michigan (The Great Lake State)
Sufjan Stevens - Illinois
Sufjan Stevens - Seven Swans
Neko Case & Her Boyfriends - Furnace Room Lullaby
Micah P. Hinson and the Gospel Of Progress
Camera Obscura - Underachievers, Please Try Harder
Nico - Chelsea Girl
The New Pornographers - Twin Cinema
Bjork - Vespertine
Death Cab For Cutie - Transatlanticism
Patrick Wolf - The Magic Position
Cat Power - What Would The Community Think?
(Various) compiled by Grandaddy - Below The Radio
Bonnie 'Prince' Billy - Master and Everyone
Elliott Smith - From a Basement On The Hill
Modest Mouse - Good News For People Who Love Bad News
Love - She Comes In Colors
Mercury Rev - All Is Dream
Grandaddy - The Sophtware Slump
Cat Stevens - Teaser and the Firecat
Herman Dune - Mas Cambios
Neil Young - On The Beach
Neil Young with Crazy Horse - Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere
The 13th Floor Elevators - The Psychedelic Sounds Of The 13th Floor Elevators

All in the all, the whole thing was not as epic as Oxford Circus Day, but the total saturation of greatness in that relatively small shop was just The Bomb. I am going to miss this discount in a really serious and painful way.

Not only am I headed into my final week of work, but it's also pretty much my final week in the country until mid-September, so I'll catch all the rest of you clowns on the flipside.
