So, it's been some number of days since we adopted Kia. Things are going well, but it's just a little stressful.

50,000, yay! (And in the middle of writing a scene between a naked kinda-werewolf spy/assassin woman and the pissed off gay whore (and lover of her husband) who so kindly brought her some clothes. ^_^; )

Now, if only I were anywhere near done with the story.

Gave up on laptop system image after one final failed attempt. Laptop is now batteryless and waiting for the box to come. Oh well.

But, I have something very important for NaNo. A new pair of fingerless gloves, for keeping my hands warm while not sacrificing mobility for typing. (I have a pair of pretty purple ones I got last year, but I'm not sure ( Read more... )

I feel awful today. It's a combination of lack of sleep (got about 4 1/2 hours last night...) and general head and throat crap. Heh, my latest thing to occupy time (aside from the usual translation/bl games/drama cds/manga/novels and such) is...
