Okay, to start this off, I know the weather here is nowhere near as hot as it is in most other parts of the country (now, or ever, really ^_^; ). That said, it's still hotter than I like, and it's only for one day, so we're not bothering to turn the air on yet.
Anyway, there are small holes in the screen in the window near my bed, so the screen generally keeps bugs out, but some can get in, particularly when they're crawling on the screen. And there's a bush right outside of my window that the male ants (with wings) seem to love when they come out around this time of the year. So a lot of flying ants end up gathering on my window as a result... and some of them always manage to find their way in.
I'm used to it. It's usually not that much of a problem, since I have two windows in my room. ^_^
But this year the ants decided to choose the hottest day of the week (twenty degrees (F) hotter than how we started, and ten degrees above what we have on the forecast for the next ten days) to come out. And since that particular window is the one the fan goes in, my room really isn't comfortable (for me) when it's this warm and the window is closed (and the air's not on). So yeah... I'm sleeping in the living room on the couch tonight. >_
