There was yet another Halloween riot in Madison this year. One year of pepper spray was enough for me. I'm fine just reading the stories on the web instead of experiencing the chaos in person. I wonder how drunk a person has to be to charge the riot police through a cloud of pepper spray. Idiots. At least the rioting students didn't destroy the businesses on State Street this year. I can't say I'd be sad if they shut down the Halloween party next year. 100,000 drunk people on State Street stopped being a party when riots the obligatory closing event. Hey Badgers - go read about the (non-violent) Village parade in NYC on Monday. Learn how a Halloween party should be run.
