Quick Writing Note & SPN Babble
Mmmkay. So, I had the once-in-a-lifetime, grab-this-opportunity-with-both-hands-and-don't-let-go! chance to travel overseas. I grabbed it, despite the excruciating USD to GBP exchange rate (like, 2:1, yikes). And I will be going, going, gone for about two weeks in the tail end of this month and beginning of next month. So, obviously, there will be no writing/posting during that time period. Sorry for stringing you all out with the possibility of more "Artist"; I'll do my best to finish that thing before I go, but no promises. Packing.
In other worlds. So, I returned to watching Supernatural, my lovely DVDs, as I prep my iPod for the plane ride (will NOT be watching Phantom Traveller during that, I assure you. Dean and I have a lot more in common than being the older sibling.). And I realized that my love is ever given to Season 1, ohyes. *bouncebounce!!* And that I hate Bella and Ruby so much, that I actually would prefer to see Ellen and Jo instead of them. I realized that I . . .I like Ellen. (I may have been in denial over this for some time.)
Yes, even Jo would be better, if I gotta choose between the blondes. I hate Ruby that much (and her hair. It's so . . . straight. And the color is just . . . yeugh.). More, in fact. I don't think the acting for either Ruby or Bella was that particularly well done; all in all, they both just . . . really piss me off. And looking back, I was more of a befuddled observer to the fandom flip-out over Jo's existance (which, seriously, wtf?), than a participant. She did annoy me, but back then? I didn't know how good I had it. Now, I do. I relish it.
Here's to hoping neither Ruby nor Bella ever return! I am exceedingly suspicious of the off-screen "death" of Bella. I admit it. I am a firm believer that Sam will bring Dean back. Here's to hoping it's not a two-for-one sale and Bella comes with. Secondly; can demons reanimate full corpses? Please, please, please let that answer be no. In my effort to remain spoiler-free, I have resisted going to fansites and such until now. I am now masking my denial of the info I uncovered by casting aspersions on the credibility of its source. Sept. 4, I await you with longing. *clutches SPN to heart, petting*
I am now off to finish watching Devil's Trap. My love for that ep? Knows NO bounds!!! *squeeing happily off into the night*
