ECverse: Progress Report . . . Artist
So!
I am dogsitting, and house-sitting, and chauffeuring. Which is a whole lotta sitting around and doing certain things at certain times and in between, doing whatever I want. Also, cleaning up dog messes and after the cat. Who, after ignoring me the whole first day, decided she liked me and brought me a cardinal's head and a whole buncha pretty red feathers and put them on the doorstep for me to find on Day2. At 6:30 AM. After my initial "ew!" moment, it makes me kinda laugh.
But the long and the short of it being, I have lotsa time to write. So I got 4K+ words on the second (final! I hope. It better not get longer . . .) part of The Artist As A Young Man today. I like the way the story's going, quite a bit, but there's one part I'm fussing over, and I need to get someone to read it to tell me if it flows, as I'm making some large chronological jumps. Plus, not done yet! I also found May Belle, but I'm leaving her profile blank until I post because the story will lose some of its punch if I fill in the blanks beforehand.
*off to eat something, because fainting is no longer in vogue*
