For the Love Of - A local friend of mine keeps this blog. Very intelligent, excellent cook, impressive gardener and insightful mother to 2 boys and fostering to adopt a precious little girl as well. A worthwhile read.
Manor of Mixed Blessings - I ran into Andrea here on LJ as we both had dober divas and were planning our weddings around the same time. I stopped following her blog sometime after she left LJ, and then rediscovered it later. Her little farm has grown a great deal, and her rambunctious puppy has grown into quite the service dog. Friend of wayward turtles and cats-what-need-homes everywhere and (bonus!) she knows cmpriest, which suggests excellent taste as well. ;) Definitely check her out.
