Discussions.
Tonight me and Kostas had one of those deeply unpleasant but in the end very enlightening deep conversations.To be honest it's not in my character to appreciate anything else but sheer frivolousness but to be honest I got a better view of me and him.
Besides this I didn't do much.I'm working on my applications and I'm dying of anxiety.
Bookwise ,I am currently re-reading Justice and Power.It's a little book which contains the discussions Noam Chomsky and Michel Foucault had on the topics of philosophy and politics.Surprisingly Foucault's ideas seem much clearer here than in his books.I'm not a fan of post-structuralist thinkers but I think that if his work had a better readership in America (and possibly France too)it could have proven more fruitful.When I say better readership I mean something not as extreme as uncritical praise(e.g. Judith Butler)or uncritical contempt (e.g.Camille Paglia).Butler fails to recognise his undeniable faults and Paglia fails to recognise any useful/interesting/worthwhile ideas that might be hidden beneath his bizarre verbiose.

PS:As soon as this whole procedure of applying in universities ends I'll have more time to update.
