(no subject)
My car died yesterday. Stalled on 36th St. in Minneapolis on my way to a park in North East. So I called my boss and he came in the Parks truck (in hopes that I could take it to the park I was on my way to) and let me use his AAA card. And then I locked my keys in the car. Which meant his hopes of me going to the park were dashed because my purse and driver's license were inside.
My car is now fixed. It was the fuel pump. So $710 later, hopefully my car will live longer. It seems I'm putting $700 into my car once a year. I hope this trend does not continue.
In other less depressing news....well there isn't any. I am lame. Excited for HP7 in a month though! I can't believe it's only a month away already...
Oh wait! there is news! We got our wedding photos back! They are awesome. I'm very excited to have them.
I've been thinking more about NaNoWriMo. I was perusing their website just now and discovered that they accept fan fiction as a genre. Can I write a 50,000 word fic? I think so, it is a good challenge. I'm up for it. And fanfic is really the only way I'd be able to participate because I can't seem to come up with any original ideas of my own. Which is why I have no aspirations to be a novelist. I will stick to the fantasy world that another woman has written and expand upon it for no gain of my own except for my own entertainment. And the entertainment of those who may be willing to read whatever crap it is I come up with.
I need to get working on my sweater again. It's supposed to be done by Halloween! I haven't worked on it in over a week.
Time to watch TV and/or write and/or knit. I've got just over an hour until Brandon takes over the TV to play games with his friends.
