Only one round of chemo to go! It's immediately after Easter so I get to indulge in chocolate without having it taste funny, which is a bonus. Due to one of the drugs being cut out, my hair has started re-growing. It's short and wispy (and fantastically soft) but it's hair and I'm happy to have it back. The cold mornings (we've gone sub-zero already) mean I'm still wearing head scarves outside most of the time, but I'm happy to take them off in the middle of the day now. Things are going well, and I'm content.
We've been told we need to sell our house to finance building the new one. This led to a panic over the prospect of living in the gutter, but that subsided when friends invited us to house-sit for them while they're overseas. Yay! No homelessness! A Good Thing:-) Then we realised we had to start packing... We have a *lot* of books. Actually, we seem to have a lot of many things... Four days spent by both of us going flat out got all the desks (9 of them) and bookcases (about 14 in total) empty. Phew. The removalists have put all the furniture (sans the lounge room and bedroom) into storage and now we can pack the *rest* of our stuff and start cleaning. Sigh. I seem to recall us moaning after the last move that we weren't doing *that* again, but we seem to have forgotten the lesson... Worse, we seem to have accumulated lots of stuff in the meantime!
Busy, busy, busy.
