OH FUCK YES.
Do you guys remember an old-school computer game called...Number Munchers? How about another game called Super Munchers?
I fucking found them. HAHAHAHAHA.
Number Munchers is an educational math computer game that will say things like "Equals 12" - and each square on the grid has addition, multiplication, division, and subtraction problems that either add up to 12 or don't. You navigate a little frog man who "eats" equations. Beware of the Troggles who come to eat you!!
Super Munchers has a similar premise but you have a wide variety of options: Animals, Music, Food & Health, Geography, etc. Believe it or not, doing it on Advanced and Genius can actually be challenging. Nothing like getting your ass kicked on a kid's game. >___< I downloaded them so that my niece and nephew could play them because apparently, they don't have educational computer games at school. WTF. COME ON. What better way to teach "parts of the body" "different diseases" "animals with fur or hair" "famous musicians from the 80s" or "famous Americans born in the 1800s"?
Involves NO INSTALLATION!! You can just play them once you extract the files from the folder.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/9gxp32 Still couldn't find the one I was looking for...it's an old MS DOS game that involves a mouse and cheese, matching shapes and colors, choosing hair and makeup for a woman's face, watching rat races, and other various minigames under the same mousey theme. The search continues!
