I just had to brighten my own day. Because I've been obnoxiously (pleasure) writing during my non-classroom hours, I am very behind on actual work. And oh boy. These next few days are going to be fun.

[I am rather amused tho...I get to make Saitou a complete tard in the bedroom and an asshole the rest of the time. My only problem is in getting them to actually FIT together. LMAO. They are just so horribly suited thus far...and I can't bring myself to make her the buddha figure she normally is in my fics. Perhaps what disturbs me about this story is that it is semi-realistic in that I am not sure in the end if they will "like" each other. They are awkward and cold and play avoidance games. That makes me sad because I had idealized them for so many years...]
1. both thrown reluctantly into marriage
2. they sleep in separate futons, he refuses to bed her
3. she wonders if they are going to have children, he continues to spurn her from his bed
4. (more?) comfortable silences...
5. most awkward bedroom scene ever XD
6. accidental stabbing of wife, resulting in total loss of trust

It's probably the most historical piece I've done to date. So non-writing time is devoted to figuring out what "facts" I want to include in my story. Regardless, I'm aiming to not spend too much time on it, so the writing will be kind of crappy. But it's also kind of fun to challenge myself to just spit it out.
I have determined that I have a great love for awkward love scenes.
