doubtfully doubting doubt

Ha!

I am back with my daily postings! How unexpected...

Yes... learn to expect the unexpected! :D
Although tonight's post will/might be a very short one.

As I consider a serious change in my daily life pattern, doubt came to fill me today. That was a fun change! ... well, kind of... but not really...

Oh, how can you even think you would be able to do that? You could never do anything good enough to justify all of it. They'll never speak to you, let alone let you take their picture. Why do you think of doing anything different, all is fine now. Are you really going to see through the whole thing?... and so on and so forth.
The mind works in funny ways.

It's hard to let go of such doubt, let alone the hidden expectations we have about ourselves. I know I'm sitting in the middle of that pot, waiting to boil ripe and then move on. Gosh oh gosh, I'm terrified and yet so full of I can't wait anymore...

Ha! News!

A few weeks ago the Finnish Embassy contacted my sister to ask her whether our "artistic family" would like to take part in an exhibition in December. A bit mesmerised by such an offer, we submitted our works to the gallery, and today we received the contract and an ok from them...

Woah.

Am I really going to expose the same pictures as this summer? Are they any good anyway? Who would seriously want to see any of them? The whole thing is so stupid. Who do they think I think I am? Am I going to dare show up for the opening night?... yep, I know the drill of doubt well enough by now.

So, Finland meets Lamb.
Or was it Lamb meets Finland?
Either or, doesn't really matter. There's a Lamb and Finland in the title, that's all that counts :)

The exhibition will probably kick off at the EMOMA on December 9 and run until January 5. For those of you who missed The Orange Man Visits Iceland this summer, it'll be an opportunity to have an excuse to come crash over at my place and have me take you across town :D

Stay tuned for more info :P
