this morning i thought of a line from pablo neruda..."i need the sea because it teaches me." today when i was at the beach I thought about it and it is true...if you just absorb, the ocean teaches you to relax, to be patient, to listen and a lot more. those are a few keys to a good life, right?
this week i started orientation and went to a party with the new faculty. my mom is here with me til sunday, so she met a bunch of the people that i will be working with. we also visited a lot of beaches like newport beach, laguna beach, and a place called crystal cove at newport coast
