So, they did not kill her.
Which is, in and of itself, a huge relief, because I just did not need to see that again in that context, with those people, ugh just no. (I was fine with her being killed in Body of Proof. Just sayin'. Although really nobody should be killed by stupid Mark Valley because he's a terrible actor, but whatever -- another subject.)
Touch is still without question an objectively terrible show, and the previews for next week suggest that it will continue to be so. But I can't lie. I loved every single minute of Kiefer and Annie onscreen together. They just have that thing that can't be manufactured. It either is or it isn't, and for them it is. I wasn't even mad that Annie spent most of the time crying, because it made sense and she didn't overdo it, and I have so much love for the way Martin was gentle with Kate and didn't push, even when she wasn't doing what he wanted her to do.
It was actually interesting to watch Kiefer and Annie interact, because it's almost as if they have to dial back the chemistry for a situation like this, so in a lot of ways it was a mindfuck. BUT I DON'T KNOW. Something about having her back onscreen with him and breathing and just THERE makes me feel better inside. And I'm going to DL the ep illegally and make a million caps of it, yep.
I feel as if it might be marinw's birthday, so if I happen to be right about that (I'm hopeless about birthdays and memorable dates in general), Happy Birthday!!!
It's absolutely gorgeous here today, so we're off to try a new hiking place. I hope everyone who celebrates has a peaceful Easter/Passover/whatever you happen to be celebrating.
