I'm having a giant case of the blahs. They're not winter blahs, save that it is in fact winter. Just general blahs. It happens. But anyway, it's been relatively quiet around LJ lately and I wanted to pop in and see how everyone's doing. (OH, and I guess there is a possible Castle spoiler under the cut, even know I actually know nothing?)
+++ I watched Touch again last Friday, and yeah, I'm in love. Not with the show, but with Kiefer as a dad and just HIM and augh. I'm just in love with him, which is news to no one. It's still not a great show at all, but it's a lot more interesting than it was last season. I'm curious to see where they're headed with Lucy (Maria Bello's character), because she's leaving after the eighth ep. Hmm.
+++ I love tumblr in a lot of ways, but it can be the WORST for sudden deluges of feelings I wasn't in the mood for. Due to tumblr and some super poor life decisions, I watched bits and pieces of the end of S8 the other night. And that was not cool. I actually forgot how horrible and creepy it is when Jack executes Dana. GOOD STORY.
+++ I have discovered the amazingness that is polenta. Mmmmmmmm.
+++ Did Castle's daughter die? Tumblr is so entertaining with stuff like that. Except for all the revolting .gifs from The Walking Dead. UGH SERIOUSLY, JUST STOP. I can't even use tumblr savior because ahahaha. "Walker" would take away "Renee Walker." (Apologies to everyone who isn't on tumblr and has no idea what I'm babbling about.)
+++ I would so deeply love to write something, but my brain isn't working. I'd actually kind of like to work on a longer story, but that would involve actual wheels turning in there . . .

I made this amazing Dutch apple pie stuff I haven't made in forever, and I've been having it for breakfast for three days. DELICIOUS. Yesterday I put Sarah McLachlan's version of "Bring on the Wonder" on repeat, and it was positively divine. I reread (for the idk, 25th time or something) Persuasion over the weekend, and holy hell I just really fucking love that book.
OKAY. Now I'm gonna pretend I'm a domestic goddess. Or something. Tell me what's new if you have a minute!
eta: OMG, this video is so terrifying and hilarious. I think they're singing about the running white horses. They ship them, yep.
