Writer's Block: Spirits

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I've had a rather complicated relationship with the afterlife, put it that way. (All the frustrations and various odd truths that might not be truths get poured into my fiction).

As for encounters...well, Gettysburg has always been interesting when I've wandered up there. The long trek to Pickett's Charge was particularly memorable, except for the fact that I don't remember every detail, because my brain was a bit clouded by a compulsion to go there. And then I was pulled (in a sense) across the field, right up to the Emmittsburg Road. Then the urge to cross the field disappeared.

The Tower of London was a different kind of experience...subtle, but I definitely felt something in the air that was just off to the left of ordinary.
