So Tammy requested to see the front of my haircut. I quite fancy the asymmetry in the fringe. It is easy to style the front; I can never get the back spiked up like how the hairdresser Joe did it. Not when I have five minutes to catch the train. I look as though I have double eyelids. ;P

Marina gave me a recipe for Chawanmushi. I was very excited to try it, and I finally found a day when I am free to cook an elaborate dinner like this: Chawanmushi, fried chicken, and mixed vegetables (spinach, leeks, carrots, and crayfish). Next time round, I am going to try to make my own fish stock for the Chawanmushi because I prefer a lighter stock with no MSG, and use some sake as well. This is the perfect dish for a cold winter. Very easy to make. Who wants the recipe?
I am thinking of making wantons some time this weekend...
